What you can expect from your initial Physiotherapy consultation at Body Smart Health:

  1. Prompt access to an appointment with one of our physiotherapists at your preferred clinical location across South East Queensland
  2. Attend your appointment with a qualified physiotherapist who has an interest and skill set which matches your particular presentation.
  3. There will be a thorough subjective examination where we find out about you, your condition, how it affects you and your goals for seeking physiotherapy management.
  4. Our Physiotherapist will then perform an objective examination which will be specific to your concerns. This allows our practitioners to set up baseline measures and provide further information required for appropriate treatment planning.
  5. Our physiotherapist will then discuss with you the outcomes of the assessment, diagnosis and the recommended treatment plan to work towards achieving your goals.
  6. Adding value to our clients is important in our treatment planning, our physiotherapists can provide you with options to continue your treatment plan between sessions with specific exercises to complete at home to maximise on your therapy time.
  7. You will have a touch point to your practitioner through email or via the customer experience team if you are unsure or have a question.
  8. Following your initial session, our physiotherapists are able to communicate with or refer to other members of your team such as your GP, specialist or support coordinator amongst others.
